The long, wonderful drive took me to the Petra Palace Hotel.
The pros:
The staff are wonderful.
It is cheap
Very close to entrance at Petra
Nice size room
The cons:
No WiFi in rooms. I didn't realize at booking
Lousy, worst breakfast ever
Dark, and shabby.
